What is this switch?
I just picked up a 89 s10 with a 350 small block swap and I can not for the life of me figure out what this switch does, and I’m not good at wiring to really trace it. Does anyone know or have an idea of what it could be?
Sonoma is done… for now.
I picked this 1991 GMC Sonoma from CA up at the end of March. Repaired the heater core, got all the gauges working, fixed a few other small issues and then did some cosmetic upgrades. Bumper, grille, wheels/tires, tint, bed cover and lights (went with black trimmed taillights). Going to leave it this way for now and daily it, has 2.5 Iron Duke 5 speed with 68k on it.

Posting my ride. What you guys think it goes for??
I finally rejoined the club! Haven't had one since college!
I picked up this rust free '94 V6 last week for $700. Tossed a set of tires on it and replaced the oil filter adapter lines and we're up and running! Still a few kinks to work out, but my s10 in college was one of my favorite vehicles I've ever owned, and I'm so excited to rejoin the club!
New tires, what do you think?
Still a long way to go on this project but I’m excited.
My goal project truck
Recently picked up a 1993 Chevy S10 with the 4.3 V6. I’ve always wanted to build a flatbed truck, so I figured this would be the perfect opportunity for a project build.
So far, I’ve fixed the A/C and repaired a water leak that was coming into the cab through the firewall. The paint honestly isn’t too bad, so I’m going to work with it for now.
I already bought a 2-inch lift kit along with a bunch of new suspension parts including upper and lower control arms, outer tie rods, sway bar components, and more. Next step is installing everything I already have, then I’ll be moving on to wheels and tires since I already have money set aside for that.
After that, the flatbed build begins. The picture is the style I’m trying to go for with the truck.
Any ideas, tips, or recommendations are appreciated. And please keep the negativity out of it I already know it’s a small truck and not the most powerful thing out there, but I’m building it because I enjoy it.
stock 2.8 tbi just hit 255000 miles and she is tired. started knocking the other day/really bad lifter tick not sure which yet but decided now’s a good time to just put in a “new to me” motor. all the research i’ve done says the 3.4 is basically a drop in swap but i can not find one for the life of me, where are people finding these motors?
i can’t tell if my sonoma is lifted in the back or not?
this may sound stupid, but i noticed The rear wheel gap looks slightly bigger than the front.
Got a1990 tahoe rwd with a 4.3l v6 that ain't running.
It's got spark, fuel, turns over, and power no blown fuses. Everything points to nothing being wrong, but it still won't run.
guide for pulling 2.8 first gen s10
Pulling the motor tomorrow to drop a new one in, never done one on these trucks wondering if you guys have any tips or anything, having a hard time finding a guide on pulling these motors online
It’s finally almost finished. I have a few odds n ends to hit; clean up the radiator support ass., T-case install, essentially everything up front other than the motor. I have some dual electric fans from FFDynamics to wire, I won’t be using AC-I ripped out the AC condenser, and removed all the components. I’ll try and update again shortly with some more detail pictures. I will also try my best to get back to anyone as well as previous posts I’m on a time crunch at the moment so I apologize.
02 ZR2 Rebuild
The fans are mounted now. I threw on the old fender wells on and started wiring and routing everything. With heat protection as I go.I’m using the RH Turn signal relay for a 12V switched power ignition source with a fuse tap. They both have individual grounds both ill ground to the radiator core support and lead wires to the fan relay module which I will find a place to mount as I go. So far I really like this kit I think it’s very straight forward and exact with instructions and the quality of parts materials and build is solid. I’ll update on their performance once the truck runs. They seem to be the only company that gives data towards the claims of less parasitic loss, improved engine , better gas mileage which read for yourself it’s very impressive for these trucks. I’m pretty positive this will make a noticeable difference.
Has anyone bought HOLLEY RETROBRIGHT (Yellow) PART #LFRB110 and have reviews they could share?
I couldn’t find any reviews online for these specific headlights, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated if possible. The headlights in the first image were edited for the right look. Thankyou in advance.
In case you were wondering a 1985 S10 will easily hold 7 32 gallon trash can loads of hedge leaves
P.S. send all your Zyrtec and Allegra. I think I'm dying from pollen
Look ma no coolant
Has not had coolant in nearly a year not super stressed as it’s not my car but curious how bad it is like could it be damaging the motor at all?
