He needs internet in his barn so he can connect a set up a wifi camera inside the barn. As you can see there is a road between the house and garage that can't be dug up, so the barn can't be connected to by ethernet cable. The garage and house already have a wired backhaul, but nothing connected to the wire in the garage at the moment.
Made a low quality paint sketch, but I think it still does the job ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This leaves two options to get internet into the garage as far as I know. 4g/5g would be too expensive in the long run.
Option 1:
Wifi Bridge. Would think this is perfect, but from my understanding this has to be on the outside of the buildings, which my father would rather not want if there is any other way.
Option 2:
Mesh network consisting of three nodes. Will this work given the range is 30 meters from both? Which mesh routers would have enough range for it to be somewhat stable, and usable for a wifi camera?
The return-policy isn't as good anymore as it used to where I'm located, so I can't buy it to try it anymore. Which is why I'm asking for advice. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
