Is the zoom good enough and is it sharp?

is the background blurred at all?

also give tips for focusing on horses that move fast, because I never get them focused enough...

I´m buying a new lens for my camera. I want to take better shots of horse riding.

Is the zoom good enough for that?

And is this lens able to make the background even bit blurry? Since the f is only 4, I´m not too sure.

And if you have any focusing tips for moving horses I would be so thankful, because my photos are almost never focused enough...
