ok so I have ALMOST jet black hair and for my summer break I wanna dye them like a bright colour like pink or purple (I’m not sure which one I should go with). and dw im not gonna dye ALL of my hair.. I just need like.. highlights. like maybe a few strands or like the front pieces. now I wanna ask firstly: -how do I do this

-how should I highlight (like maybe just the ends or a few strands??)

- and lastly : WHAT COLOURRRR

also gimme some tips for this in general
