I just had a colonoscopy and my doctor said that I likely have crohns given the multiple scattered apathe in my terminal ilium. He biopsies it and still waiting on the results. I will also do further studies like endoscopy and maybe a pill cam. I’ve been having back pain for years that no one could figure out and it’s been getting worse and worse and no I’ve been reading that it can be related to crohns. Can anyone with back pain from crohns describe how it feels? Did your medications for crohns help with that?

I had my colonoscopy on Wednesday and colon was clean but terminal ilium had some small ulcers so potentially looking at Crohns but waiting on biopsy. I was gassy all day but that’s normal. I felt pretty good on Thursday and Friday and Saturday and had BMs on all those days except Saturday. They were normal-ish for me. Yesterday I also felt an interesting pain near my belly button that felt like a stitch that you get when you excercise after eating except that I didn’t excercise but it wasn’t too bad and I chalked it up to gas pain and it went away. but today is Sunday and I had horrible cramping and it took awhile for the poop to come out even though it was soft. There was also a lot of mucus bits coming out there. I have been going several times since then and the pain is lessening each time but I keep passing these small soft tiny poop with bits of mucus. I called my doctor and he agreed it sounded unusual but said it doesn’t need an ER visit unless it worsens or I get fever or start vomiting. Anyone has this? The possible crohns diagnosis was actually a surprise for me as I only did the colonoscopy because I had a lot of gas and my poops we’re getting a bit mushy so I don’t think that this is a Cohn’s flare. Even if it’s Cohn’s my doctor said that it looked extremely mild
