Brand new guitar have paint residue? Not really sure what it is, in the pot hole. Anyway to fix this maybe polish or bigger knobs ?

Just bought this beautiful Godin summit classic ht. It's a marvelous instrument I'm in love with it. The only downside is there is some paint/ lacquer residue in the knob hole that won't go away. Oh well I will just live with it!

Hi guys! I'm looking into buying a new guitar for my 35th birthday I have green light from my wife! I currently own a ibanez rg631alf and a telecaster player 2 modified. They are both awesome guitars that I truly enjoy playing with for different reasons. I want to buy something different this time so I'm looking to buy a les Paul. Since I don't have enough money for a Gibson. I found some nice Epiphone models. I don't know much about les Paul but I want some opinions. I either want to buy the new Les Paul widow or the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Les Paul Custom. What do you think!
