I got device/hardware banned on my phone a week or two ago, and I sent an appeal but it was rejected shortly after. Since I was also logged into my laptop on my banned account, I'm guessing I also cant really make new accounts without getting suspended. I've already tried by using a new email + vpn + clear chace + using a priv broswer, but I'm still getting suspended within a few days. I had a few questions I was wondering about:
Are these types of bans permanent? I also saw somewhere saying that some people got unbanned in a few months but also a lot of people saying they were perma banned.
At this point, do I just have to get a new phone to be able to use IG? Or is it possible to factory reset phone and use a different device to create a new account? (I saw some stuff online saying it's not a reliable method)
If I do have to get a new phone to use IG, what are the proper/necessary steps I need to take to make sure I don't also get banned on my new phone?
Appreciate any suggestions or help!
