WIBTA for not taking down my toy wall for maintenance? (NSFW)

ETA2: I don't know how to close posts, but I've heard enough. Mostly for safety of the gear I'll be putting what I can away before I have to leave. None shall be exposed to the fuck shelf. Thanks to those of you who commented.

Straight to the point, I have a kink wall in my bedroom of what's basically a studio apartment. It's entirely possible for someone to walk right past to get to the kitchen/living area and not see it, but it's still a possible risk that the maintenance crew in my apartment building will see it.

ETA: I'm several states away and just got notice that the maintenance checks are coming this tuesday. I get back home late Monday night and go to work early Tuesday morning and will not have time to reasonably cover the wall without sacrificing sleep that I very much need — either I take it all down or I don't. The ceiling above the wall has pipes running the length of it so I don't think I can even tack anything in front to make it stick without covering half my bedroom, and if they're checking anything electrical, the box is in the closet right beside the wall, so they'd see it anyway.

I have been avoiding putting in a few service requests since putting it up because I just haven't wanted to deal with them, but now standard apartment checks are coming up and I'm getting conflicting feedback. Some of my friends say it's my space and I can do what I want with it, and maintenance shouldn't care as long as the apartment is up to code and being maintained otherwise (it is).

Some of my friends are saying I should take it down until checks are done as a courtesy and even accusing me of exposing unwilling people to my kinks, which is a controversial topic in the kink community. I'm very proud of this display and I really won't have the time to sit down and arrange everything again for a couple weeks at least. WIBTA for leaving it up for maintenance people to potentially see?

To clarify in case it makes a difference, this wall is a few shelves of toys like whips, gags, plugs, rope, etc, but no photographs or images of anything. Everything is sanitized within an inch of its life before going on the display wall.

Tl;Dr I don't want to take my toy wall down for maintenance checks, and my friends are equally saying I should or shouldn't. WIBTA for not taking down the toy wall?
