Saw this on Facebook marketplace, figured it was a scam but sent a message anyway.
To my surprise the seller responded that it was still available and I could go around this morning to collect.
Went around, and purchased it there and then, managed to haggle £100, so £2100 in total.
M5 Pro Max - lowest spec available but significantly less than retail.
Will probably keep it a little while and then trade in via Apple for the 128GB version with a 4TB drive.
I wasn’t actually on the lookout as I’ve the M4 Pro, a Studio and the Neo - but it was too good an opportunity to miss. My son is currently doing his GCSE’s with a view to go to college afterwards so I’ll give him the M4 Pro as I love the lightweight Neo.
I’ve now set up the new machine and purchased Apple Care so it’s not a blocked serial at least.
(Yes my desk needs a tidy 😂)
