So Its been few days now since this "check engine light" have been appearing on my alza lama kereta, however it comes and goes.
I first sent to the workshop to do some D/com (diagnosis computer) rm 80 💸. And then they told us to return back if still got the lights. Surely enough on the next day it appeared on around petang when im otw goin back home.
I sent it back to the workshop for further testing, ( test engine warning w/ comp, check sensor w/ osc) 350 💸. And the results were they didnt see any problem and all were okay. They then said that my car would need at least a week to finnish doing the checking on my car as they plan to do an ECU TEST....
At that time i wasnt able to live w/o my car as i have no other ways of commuting. ( im hella broke💔).
So i just told them not to go thru with the ECU TEST...
Fast foward today, i started my engine and turn on my ac. At that time the warning light havent appear so i just stare at for a few minutes until finnaly it appear.
So that get my gears working in my brain for once.. if car park suddenly have got the engine light means the problem has to be from the ac......
I further test this theory by driving my car w/o my ac and surprise2 my car performance way better than b4, easy pick up no more in limp mode....
So heres my question, whats the relationship between the ac with the check engine light?.... was i getting scam by the mechanic???
Should i go bring my car to the same mechanic or a different one? Bcs the old one at least knows that diagnostic and sensors are okay...
Can i fix this on my own? I spend alot alrdy fixing my car at the mechanic shop.. wanna at least save it till next gaji.. next month
Is it wise just to drive my car and without using the ac???? As it is highly likey my ac is the culprit behind the check engine light... so if i just switch it offf will that be safe?
