Hey everyone,

I’m planning admission for my sister in Banasthali Vidyapeeth (BTech) and I really want to understand the real ground reality, not just what’s shown on the website or YouTube.

If you’re currently studying there or have passed out recently (especially from CSE/IT/ECE), please share your honest experience.

Here are some things I’m genuinely concerned about:

  1. Placements (MOST IMPORTANT)

- What’s the real average package for BTech (especially CSE)?

- Are most students actually placed or only a small percentage?

- Which companies are genuinely visiting?

- Is it true that placements depend heavily on self-preparation?

  1. Coding Culture & Exposure

- Is there a strong coding culture like hackathons, clubs, competitions?

- Do students rely more on self-study (YouTube, online platforms)?

- Is the curriculum updated or outdated?

  1. Academics & Workload

- Are assignments meaningful or just for pressure?

- Do students get enough time for skill development (DSA, projects, etc.)?

  1. Campus Life & Strictness

- How strict are the rules (dress code, timing, movement)?

- Does it feel too restrictive or manageable after some time?

  1. Phone Usage & Communication

- Are phones allowed freely?

- Can students stay connected with family/friends regularly?

  1. Hostel & Food

- How is hostel life overall?

- Mess food quality (honest opinions please 😅)

  1. Freedom & Outings

- Are students allowed to go outside campus?

- How often and how difficult is it?

  1. Overall Verdict

- Would you recommend Banasthali for BTech in 2026?

- Or should one consider other private/state colleges instead?

I’ve seen very mixed opinions online—some say placements are decent (~7–9 LPA median range), while others say exposure is limited and everything depends on self-effort.

So please share your real experience—good or bad, both are welcome 🙏

It will really help in making a big decision.

Thanks a lot!
