Partner told me they have a crush on friend
My (cis F) partner (FTM) of two years told me last night what I had been suspecting. She has a crush on our mutual friend who is also trans. She told me she wanted to tell me the truth and get it out in the open so the crush would go away. I’m devastated. Obviously she hasn’t cheated or anything but I had a feeling this was happening with how much they were texting. It’s just…I’ve been with her pre-transition and now that she’s out for 2 years. We live together. She’s my whole world. I’m supposed to travel with her for FFS in a few months. I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t know if that crush will lead to more. I don’t know how I’m not going to be suspicious every time she texts our friend. I don’t know if she will end up telling our friend how she feels. She told me that a lot of trans femmes fall hard for each other because of the shared experiences but it just feels like all of what we’ve been through isn’t enough anymore, like I’m not enough. She says she still wants to be with me but I’m honestly questioning that.
