Does anyone work in construction as a means to an end?

Does anyone work in construction to fund a side gig they wish to turn into their main source of income? I am considering becoming a laborer so that I can work temporary jobs while working on my side gig during the off time. Now I don’t know if the union asks “why do you want to be an apprentice” but I’m wondering if it’s looked down upon to not want this to be my permanent career.

Are there glasses that “edit” what we see with our “raw” eyesight to make it as if it were edited in lightroom?

These are Enchroma glasses. I guess they are for colorblind people but glasses like these are essentially what I’m looking for. Are there any specific brands or type of glasses that can help me achieve this?

I’ve read that anything over #6 guard leaves the hair to look choppy, but I don’t know how to cut the sides/back with scissors. I can’t find anything online about cutting the sides of your hair with scissors; only the top. Im thinking about getting higher guards like #16 and just seeing how that goes. Has anyone been in the same boat? Everything on here is about buzzed sides and longer tops or like 4 inches + haircuts. Its hard to find this middle ground

I have beard balms, a brush, oils, shampoos and a leave in conditioner. This is just too much stuff. As of now I rinse it every shower and/or in the morning/night, wash with bar soap in shower 1-2x a week, and brush it after every shower after patting it damp. All I want now is to add something to make it softer but I have too many options. I don’t want to use too many products

I feel like working out heavily impacts how I’m feeling the rest of the day. It makes me feel like I have to be productive because I already started the engine. It kind of sucks when I literally have nothing to do other than be lazy, which is fine, but my mind makes me feel guilty for it. On the weekend I purposely do not workout so I can enjoy myself doing lazy stuff. Can anyone relate to this?

I have started learning fencing and have just been poking a hanging ball in my room. I realized since I’m mainly focusing on one arm, eventually i might have a big boulder shoulder looking like the winter soldier. What specific workouts do you do to prevent this?
