I thought it was the hospitals, but whenever I say that on Reddit, everyone downvotes me and attacks me for criticizing doctors. So apparently it is the health insurance companies that bills, but they never send the bills. It’s just frustrating to try to navigate the healthcare system because no one knows how it works, and you just get attacked if your understanding doesn’t match that of someone else
