I run a free coaching site and the number one thing Ive found holding people back is their egos. The lower the elo the bigger the ego.

You don’t need to play League perfectly to climb, you just need to be teachable. if you find yourself saying, “…but my teammates”, just stop playing, your mental is already boomed.

Yes, your teammates DO make mistake. Yes, your botlane is 0/24 at 5 minutes. But the only consistent is you, and in 95% of cases a challenger player could have won “that” game. Queue into ranked not attached to the outcome but dedicated to improving instead, and you will naturally climb. “Hur dur my teammates” is the antithesis of the white belt mentality.

Diamond top laner trying to learn other roles to supplement my game knowledge. What’s the best baseline for tailoring my builds, highest win rate in general, vs enemy support or vs enemy adc? I imagine that my core build wouldn’t change too much based on if I’m Thresh into Leona or Milio, or should it?
