I have a current subclass 485 visa which has about 6-7 months left on it. I am eligible for applying for a 1 year second 485 visa for living and working in a regional city and just want to know if I get the second visa granted before my current visa expires would that 1 year kick in from the date I get the second grant or would it be from the date my current visa expires?

So say I get the second visa tomorrow would it show 1 year 7 months or would it show 1 year?
