High school senior looking for help figuring out degree path

Hi, I am struggling to find the best way to get into this field in terms of picking the right school. Currently, I am going to be graduating from high school with my high school diploma and an associate's degree in studio arts this month. I live in California and prefer to stay here as well during my education at a university. I have already been accepted into Universities like SFSU, SJSU, and CSULB, but when touring the campuses, I felt that the state schools were outdated, bleak, and weren't the best for ID, with an underwhelming job outlook. On the other hand, I looked into the private art schools like Art Center and Academy of Art University, and felt that they were too expensive, and I didn't have any solid ID specific portfolio work(Art Center) or were strangely sketchy(Academy of Art University). The only one I felt that was really cool and best suited for ID was the Academy of Art University, with its seemingly great networking, but with the lawsuits and what people say online about it, it makes me think otherwise. My goal is to get a bachelor's and connections in the industry here in Cali, and then go overseas to Germany to get my master's.

I feel a little lost on what is best to do, and would love to know what you guys think. Thanks for reading through my rant. I'm open to any suggestions!
