Shortcut fix for Apple CarPlay Disconnect
For the past few years my BMWs have experienced the common issue where CarPlay periodically doesn’t properly reconnect after leaving the car for a little while. Either it doesn’t reconnect at all, or it connects but the album artwork no longer shows up and you can’t skip tracks in Apple Music using the steering wheel controls. I used to have to turn the car off and back on, or restart my phone.
A year or two ago, someone shared an iOS shortcut they created that easily and quickly fixed the issue. For some reason, that shortcut is no longer working. Does anyone else have a quick fix for this issue?
