I’m a SAHM in Nashville. I am in desperate need of some social connection with other women. I am genuinely forgetting how to carry out basic conversations with people. I grew up an hour south of Nashville and moved to Nashville a little over 3 years ago. When I got pregnant with my 3rd child, I left my job soon after. (The first trimester was brutal with this pregnancy and it was interfering with my work so I made the decision to put in my two weeks notice). I say that to say that I have been a SAHM for over a year now. My baby is gonna be a year old next month. I have two school age children as well.

I have no friends in Nashville. Everyone I know either works or lives more than 40 minutes away. I have thought about making some type of post/group on my socials that would bring other SAHM like me together and create a safe, supportive, and friendly space. I would love to have some suggestions and advice on what to do, how to get started, how to get the word out, what rules to create to ensure the success of a SAHM mom meet up group, etc.

Has anyone had experience running a SAHM group? What were the benefits? What were the challenges? What were things that you all did?
