really it can be any situation, but I’ve always had it in my head that Gabe’s abuse to Percy was actually really severe and traumatizing. I have this image in my head of all the friends laughing and making jokes in the Argo or something and then Percy adds to the joke by saying something about knowing how to cover bruises or something and then everyone just stares at him and he realizes what he has said and now has to tell them all. OR Percy has a trauma response or panic attack and ends up telling them. anything along any of these lines really!
