Is going KEF from Polk R200 worth it?

Or any other bookshelf speaker? Use case is for a 2.1 system for movies and music. I've the R200 coming to 3 years now and just wondering if any upgrade is logical or if the improvements over the R200 are minute and not worth it.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the R200s. Still going strong and they are fabulous, especially for the price.

I posted a SOTC recently and compared to my more established pieces, this Seiko got a bit of attention so decided to take more pics.

I got this from Osaka in March 2026. Paid about 1.7K SGD after 10% tax refund and 7% tourist discount. Was a bit of a challenge to find this piece as it seems to be incredibly rare though it doesn't seem exclusive to Japan. Even this piece itself was the last piece they had and it was a display piece.

The arita porcelain dial is pure pleasure to look at. The rececessed subdials (one a power reserve and one a date indicator) are a piece of art in my eyes. The red IX is also reminiscent of early Seiko pieces. But for me, my favourite part is the blued hands. These hands are probably the closest I'll get to a Credor. Almost black in certain lighting but a rich vibrant blue in sunlight. I have this watch paired with a Hirsch George navy strap.

After years, I managed to add a couple of watches to my collection. My journey started more than 10 years ago with a Seiko Alpinist SARB017 and a Tissot Visodate. Had only those 2 watches for the longest time.

Omega Speedy - My grail. Finally managed to afford it in late 2023 and have been wearing it almost daily for the past 2+ years. It was my GADA except for the beach lol.

Seiko Arita Porcelain - Was in Japan last month and wanted a JDM Seiko. I know this watch is not technically JDM but I really fell in love with the dial, especially how the subdials sink.

Longines Zulu Time - Have been looking at this watch since last year. The green bezel with the gilt was class in my book and really had to have it. Got it last week in 39mm.

Now, I'm looking for a diver to complete the collection. Don't have a red watch so I was looking at the burgandy Black Bay. But open to suggestions of course. Though I don't see myself getting it till next year (wife still doesn't know about the Longines).

Thanks to the advice from this sub, I went with the 39mm and yes, it's perfect. This is my third watch in my collection and the first watch with gilt.

The way the gilt plays with the sun is mesmerizing. I just can't stop looking.
