225/55/18 for Seal, ok?
Hi,
Seal RWD owner for 8 months and living in Istanbul where there are lots of high kerbs and potholes. My main problem with the car was that I scratched front (under) after the kerbs sometimes and hit under the vehicle twice. I used 215/55/18 winters (694mm height-same as performace 235/45/19) with more air in front (38f-42r psi) for the last 5 months which helped a lot.
I am considering buying 225/55/18 (705mm height)
instead of 225/50 oem (682mm height) for new summer tires and getting rid of those crappy Eco contact 6s.
Do you think it'll fit or rub to the fender? Should I concern about suspension (or another) problems?
Difference is %3.3.
Alternatives are 235/50 or 215/55 but I will be very happy if 225/55 fits with no problems like mentioned above.
