intramural anterior body myoma

intramural anterior body myoma

My last normal menstrual period was in early December around the 3rd. I usually bleed heavy. But it changed suddenly. I had two periods in December. Around the 31st I bleed for about 24 hours light pink spotting. Since then every month I been having very light pink spotting lasting about 1-2 days only enough to partially saturate two small pads each month. My doctor doesn’t think it’s anything to worry about says its only an issue if my periods are super heavy or bleeding in between periods. I had a transvaginal ultrasound last week findings showed intramural anterior body myoma. I read that symptoms are usually very heavy bleeding with this type of fibroid. But I’m not bleeding much at all. Has anybody experienced this? if so, what was your treatment and did it turn out to be PCOS related?

I quite literally had a meltdown today after leaving the gynecologist office today. Since this past December, I’ve been having irregular menstrual periods. My periods have been super light for the most part I may bleed for 24 hours and have light spotting not even fill a menstrual pad for a day or two. The color of it is off very light pink. My gyno just blew me off by saying not menstruating is not a big deal. Which I know is not true. It’s so frustrating being a woman sometimes when our concerns are constantly ignored. She said there was no reason for blood work and that I should see a gastroenterologist to determine if I have any G.I. related issues triggering it. Or that it could be from the 7 pounds that I lost. Gyno says to only worry when you menstruate heavy and have large clots.
