I got this R36S from an antique mall with a dead SD card in the OS slot (Surprise). I got a new name brand SD card, got arkOS v2.0 multi panel extracted it and used Rufus to write it to the SD card.

It Just stays in the same loading screen saying "please insert card"

It doesn't look to be used very much and came in the box with the packaging and onion skin still on it.

I got two of them for $20 so it's no big deal either way.

the one I thought was a knockoff is working fine but I don't know if someone tried to install another OS on this green one or what. If I can't use arkOS on it what alternative will work?

I've been using catchy and Steam big picture mode for quite a while without any issues. This rig lives under my TV and is pretty much exclusively for gaming. Starts up automatically in big picture mode. I pick a game and play.

For a few days now when I would launch a game the taskbar would pop up for a couple of seconds then go away but now it's flickering anytime an input is registered including with the DPI of my mouse. I updated and restarted before making this post and the issue persist.

If anybody knows the cause or how to fix it, I'd really appreciate it.

Hardware is all modern AMD, video output via HDMI. Desktop environment is KDE plasma, Taskbar set to autohide but now the options seem to make a difference.
