We've only had her a day after failing to catch mama last night. None of the shelters or rescues near us will take her if we cant catch mom too.

How do I know that shes actually taking from the bottle??

Edit: Thank you. We took the kitten over to an animal shelter (still wouldnt take him, still no mom) but they did give us advice. The ripple we had for him was way to big, and they gave us a smaller one.

As for catching mom: she has completely abandoned him. He was outside all night and mom never showed up. We only found him bc he was literally starving and screaming.

👍 alls well

Trying to talk to people more and these types of posts seem pretty popular, so it felt right.

Edit: I posted this nearing midnight, so it may be a little bit

Picture, name, a couple sentences of lore

Limit of 3 oc’s

Say who you want to rate

If you have questions about them I’ll try to answer in character the best I can

Character are party of a larger fantasy world building project, so if you have questions about that please ask.

Kamber, Dimitri, and Bite (he/him) are the main characters

Eve, Garrick, and Viktor are secondary

Valerie and Amelia are mostly for wider story building, but do have lore themselves

So I read the rules, and I am pretty sure its allowed. If there's somewhere better I could post this I will.

Also I wasn't sure if this would be better for behavioral or general, so it can be switched if its wrong.

Recently, a stray* had kittens underneath out deck. There's atleast 2 from the meows I can hear and I know where they are (inaccessible for me) and I left treats on the stairs around it for momma cat. But she saw me while I was trying to find where the kittens where to see if I could get them out/just make sure they are safe.

She isnt going to abandon them is she? She saw me, and I left more treats to hopefully make sure she understands its me leaving the treats for her. She's going to come back??

She and my cat also saw each other, he was leashed and I put him back inside as soon as I saw her.

*Stray bc I don't know if shes actually a stray, or if shes just one of the indoor/outdoor cats since several people in the neighbourhood have them
