Any one have experience with doing air layers on a tree and not keeping a check on them? I know where a tree grown from a cutting from my great grandmas fig tree. Not sure what kind. In North Mississippi so probably a celeste or brown turkey. Just wanting to take an air layer from it but it is 20 miles away and i wont be able to keep it moist or check on it. Would it be successful if i just wet the air layer down real good and come get it 6 weeks later? Or would i have more success just cutting a smallish limb and sticking it in some potting soil at my house so i can keep an eye on it? Just not gonna be able to go check on it because if the distance. Looking for suggestions

I been busy lately and realized i have a sunflower coming up in my fig tree pot. Will the sunflower survive a transplant? Or should i even try?

One of my tomato plants already has blossoms. Dont know if it matters but im pretty sure it is Black Krim but may be a Beef steak. I got my seedling pots mixed up. Trying the lower and lean method this year if that matters.
