I’m interested in hearing from those taking monorail 4x5s out into the field. Describe your experience and how you are packing your kit please.

I know the difference between camera styles so I don’t need a discussion about why a folding wooden camera might be better. Been down that road. By “in the field” I mean short walks from the car. I’m not hiking the Appalachian Trail!

If you’re using a lightweight monorail please share model and satisfaction with it.

I have a new Tangente, just about 2.5 months old, that’s gaining 1.5 minutes a day. It’s the least precise piece I own. Even my Orient watch doesn’t gain that much per day. Is this worth taking in to have it regulated, or it is common with this brand/ model?

I love the watch but having to reset it every couple of days is a bit of a disappointment.
