Honestly, i don’t even care that the feature stopped working but I’m just super curious as to why. I know that there’s a few parameters that must be met for it to activate, climate, battery, brake pedal position etc. The problem is, all of those things would pop up a message telling you why it’s disabled. Mine no longer does that. No message, no apparent reason. My battery tested “good” but i don’t know if my battery analyzer and car have the same definition of “good”. I would think the car would still notify you that the battery is not within limits or whatever. Any insight??

**Update:** I apparently had accidentally pressed and held the button to disable the messages for auto stop/start (or the dealer did for some reason). I reenabled it and during my commute it initially popped up saying “warming or charging” with the temperature icon. Later in the drive it maintained the same message but the icon changed to the battery so I’m assuming the battery is just aged and the car isn’t happy. Another user mentioned a service bulletin about the starter relay, unsure if that’s related. FYI, the car has ~96k miles. I’ll probably replace the battery before WI winter hits again as preventative maintenance.
