Resisting the urge to respond to this ...
Last week my LC dad called me because my VLC mom was raging at him because I had neglected to make my children write her thank-you cards for their Xmas & birthday gifts (Reader, we are a neurospicy family with full time jobs and a couple side-hustles - NOBODY, including my best friend, the pope, and Jesus are getting thank-you notes for anything). I told my dad that when we give someone gifts with the expectation that they will perform something for us in return, that isn't a gift, it's an attempt at manipulation. So then my mom sent me this. The last sentence in the 3rd picture really sums it up, doesn't it? The last page is her response to the news that I have stage 1 breast cancer, so, yeah ... something tells me reconciliation isn't happening any time soon. 😒
