She was just walking on a wall, he is a bit larger than normal red formica workers, his head is black and jaws are red, thorax black and the mid section is like red black and red stripe. I have never seen this type of ant before, i think its a formica rufa queen
So i was just walking today because it was a warm day, and i saw an unusually large fire ant worker, i took it home because it was so much larger than the normal workers we have in Estonia, myrmyca rubra which is our fire ant was just walking slowly on the sidewalk near a forest. I want to know if it is an ant queen of sorts or a pretty large red colored ant species, i’d say its about the size of a formica or carpenter worker ant. Also this ant was like completely still, not walking around the test tube after i put it down.
