With so many players still wanting a permanent TBC server, similar to how we already have Classic Era for Vanilla, Blizzard’s recent TBC changes honestly feel a bit worrying.
They just announced huge Arena item discounts, removed rating requirements for shoulders and weapons, and even added character boost discounts in the shop. To many players, this feels less like support for long-term TBC and more like a way to make everything easier and faster before moving on completely.
What makes people even more concerned is that something very similar happened back in 2022 — Blizzard started adding discounts, simplifying progression, and making catch-up systems easier right before TBC ended. That’s why many players are now wondering if these changes are another sign that permanent TBC Era servers are not planned at all.
But the reality is simple: there is still a huge community that loves The Burning Crusade specifically. Many players consider TBC the best expansion WoW ever!!!!!!!
BLIZZARD — WE WANT TBC ERA!!!
Please give us permanent TBC servers, just like Vanilla Classic Era.
There are thousands of players who would gladly keep playing TBC for years.
