Was using some cheap amazon buds for a while and thought they were fine until i switched to buds 4 pro. for the most part i typically just buy what works for my phone but i borrowed my bros buds and could literally hear the difference.

not only that but he teased me for being cheap, so i had to level up

first thing i noticed is everything sounds way less muddled. like before it was just bass and kinda sharp highs, now vocals actually sit clean and you can hear layers in songs. was listening to kendrick then some lo fi stuff and it didn’t fall apart between genres

also didn’t realize how bad separation was before. now you can actually pick out instruments instead of it all blending together. not super bass heavy but feels more balanced overall
