Advice Please

My Audiogram is either right on the line or moderate loss (up to 50dB) at the low frequencies and a disaster above 2kHz. My audiologist has referred on to a specialist audiologist as I have really bad tinnitus. They are talking about hearing aids, that at the moment I have said is not an option for me, as I'm very active and I'm certain my hearing is fine for the areas that it matters, I rarely have to ask people to repeat themselves (max 10 times a day and that is because I'm not concentrating hard enough on what they are saying), it's just the tinnitus that is driving me mad and I'm certain it is impacting my hearing.
I forgot to ask my audiologist and as they don't wear hearing aids anyway my questions are :-

  1. Do you become addicted to your hearing aids and it makes your ears lazy so you need more amplification in a few years that you wouldn't have had if you not worn hearing aids?
  2. Do they fall out / off easily?
  3. Are the in canal hearing aids comfortable. I had to get custom hearing protection a number of years ago the person taking the moulds at an audiology clinic told me to avoid hearing aids at all costs. They are comfortable to wear, but I can't handle the foam noise protection, or the iPhone type ear pods, they make my ears ache very quickly?
  4. Anyone with bad tinnitus, do the hearing aids help?
  5. Does anyone have personal experience with the Phonak Virto R Infinio, they seem to tick all the boxes for me, rechargeable, discrete, low maintenance and cost after the initial purchase, tinnitus feature, of course it will be up to audiologist and I'm making them work to avoid hearing aids unless all other options fail?
  6. Do guys start to wear their hair long to cover your ears?
