Another day, another unknown material

Anyone have a reliable app to identify materials? Trying to wean myself off ai.

This is from food packaging (a seal) i believe from yogurt. This feels like aluminium foil (crumples without springing back) but it is shiny on one side, less so on the other and apparently it could be a plastic coating?

It certainly doesn’t look like pure aluminum even if it mostly is.

Going to be late to click and collect, inform through number or store?

I thought store would be better but on the website it says to call the number who will then contact the store. Unfortunately i have some transport issues but i want to collect it near closing time if possible.

Tablet / pill tube can it be recycled?

UK here. Asked chatGPT and it said it wasn’t but i didn’t believe it fully. Showed the lid as it looked like a moisture absorber and it was.

Can they be recycled? The tube seems fine but the dessiciant (spiral) doesn’t as it’s soft and spongy.

I saw on old post of someone using it for skincare too not sure how viable that is but the dessiciant part seems to be of great use somewhere.

▲ 1 r/snails

Sometimes i’ll leave them exposed and they’ll quickly leave but i have also banged the pot to dislodge them quickly. At first i thought it was like pulling the tablecloth off the table quickly and keeping everything above (i.e. the snail) intact excluding the drop. I’ve never broken the shell this way and i’ve seen some snails come out and leave after doing this but i’m worried i might be harming their internal organs now that i think about it. I don’t want to give them a grisly death. :(
