Asked to give up reformer during class
The other day I was on a waitlist for a class. I went to the studio and checked-in. 2 minutes before class got a text I was added and front desk told me to go in. In the middle of the third center-core exercise (unsure if it was 5 mins or not!) someone comes in the room and is looking for a reformer. Goes to the coach and the coach looks around and asks on the mic if someone isn't registered for the class. Eventually the front desk comes in and says to the coach 'oh it's [insert my name]' then they both come over and ask me to get off the reformer (I'm in the middle of an elevated v-up!). Very confused I got off the machine and left. I ended up taking a class later that day but am still uneasy about it and felt embarrassed at the time (everyone thought I was a free loader!)
I absolutely understand that mistakes happen. But it seems a bit unsafe and impractical to remove someone from the machine. My studio does not have a HCCM and I am not looking for like a freebie (I'm an unlimited member). It seemed unsafe, disruptive, and kind of weird?
I also love my studio, coach, and front desk so I hope I won't upset anyone by posting this. Am I wrong to be upset by this? What if any recourse makes sense.
