I just had a Generac automatic transfer switch installed, with a 50A inlet plug on the generator side. I understand that this generally would be used with a Generac unit. For now, I prefer the flexibility of a dual or tri-fuel portable inverter unit. I was originally planning to just manually operate the transfer switch when needed, but I just saw that this Pulsar (PGD125TiSRCO) has an interface for an ATS. Has anyone done this, or can explain how to hook this up?

Hello - I had my service upgraded last week and I noticed the front cover on the new panel does not clear the main breaker, which appears to be tipped down. Before the electrician comes back out, I want to get the community's opinion. It seems to me that the 2 tabs near the top center of the breaker are supposed to be behind the plastic piece crossing the top of them, and I think it came from the supplier that way. So the 3 lower fasteners should be loosened enough to get the those tabs tucked up behind, so the whole breaker will be pushed up a little bit higher.

I'm quite handy and tempted to fix this myself. We have an outdoor shutoff now, so it would be safe. Do the 3 fasteners have torque specs, or just nice and tight?
