This 4/20 I got in touch with a glass blower out of Maine who makes these blue lobster claws. They have a huge fanbase of MaineTrees up there, so these are a big hit. It came on 4/20, so I was able to do a little sum-sum and smoke the right strain out of it.
Some new indicas have dropped and they’re each a different brand. In order of top to bottom:
Dark Heart - Icy Grapes (I)
One of those “slumped” kind of indicas. Gorgeous, trichrome covered buds, some purple hues, and a really pleasant smell. This one has a much nicer trim, and a mix of bud structure

Grassroots - Facetz 12 (I)
While frosty and effective, this trim job is questionable. It initially makes you think less of this strain, but that changes once smoked. The nose is slightly muted, but this is a heavy hitter and a good ease into relaxation.

Reef - Purple Starfruit (I)
Likely my favorite so far, also sticky and frosty. Not as purple as the name implies, but its got a great smell too (fruity / creamy)

Pro: this thing has be surprisingly high. Im not even sure what this % is at, but it feels like a +90%. I only need a few small hits.
Cons: this particular BDT blend is not the smoothest nor the tastiest. It doesn’t taste bad, but this reminds me of a desserty nic vape. I think I’ll stick with the legacy lineup if I get any other briqs.
I like these for concerts or fests as they fly through security with no issue, but for now Im sticking with my Amnesia Haze.
