Hi I went wedding dress shopping for the first time and I was completely overwhelmed. I filled out the questionnaire beforehand, saved dress pictures, and selected the store based on the designers they had. However, when I got to the store I was told to pick dresses myself which was incredibly hard to do.
We decided to try a bit of everything on since it was my first time - even though I was more so interested in non-lace options. By the end of the appointment, I had only tried on one non-lace dress because it seemed like they didn’t have a ton of options in that area despite what it looked like on their site.
I’m a little discouraged because dresses are all starting to look the same to me, and I cannot find another place with inventory that looks different from this place. And on top of it, I don’t really have the time to look through every store’s inventory on top of my day job.
Is there a resource to look through multiple styles of dresses and see where that designer or dress may be located? Or a website where I can filter what I want and it populates types of dresses?
I’m fearful that I’ll end up having a similar experience elsewhere
