Fertility treatment outside of home country
Hello! I’ve been a lurker here for a few years, but now I’m planning on starting this journey in the next year or 2.
Does anyone here have experience with doing IVF/IUI outside of your home country, in particular in a country whose healthcare infrastructure isn’t as developed? I’m living abroad for the next several years for work, but I don’t want to put this part of my life on hold. I’m in my early 30s and comfortable career- and income-wise, so this feels like the right time to start.
I’ve found a good private clinic that seems to check all my boxes and is used to patients from other countries. If you’ve done fertility treatments abroad, could you tell me about your experience and maybe any extra steps you took/questions you asked? Thanks!
