I am pregnant with didi twins (30 weeks). At my 20-week scan baby a had femur at 2nd percentile. The head and abdomen were also on the smaller side (around 5-10 percentile). Baby b had femur around 3-4 percentile and head and abdomen on the average side (40-50 percentile). Since that week they have been monitoring me every two weeks. Baby a femur is lagging behind and is less than 1 percentile at all scans but it follows the curve. It is always 2-3 weeks behind. The head and abdomen are also consistent on the small side but more than 2 percentile. Baby b has a stable femur growth at around 3-4 percentile too. They did and advanced ultrasound at 30 weeks and they found out that baby a has short long bones (most of them are less than 1 percentile and baby b has also short long bones but around 3 percentile.
Both my husband and I are short (around 1.65cm). My nipt test was normal and the babies seem fine regarding heart and brain. Do you have a similar experience? The doctors say most likely they are growth restricted but I am super scared of genetic issues.
