My problems Pipsqueak2
I tried really hard to like this chat style, just as I'm sure many others have too, but I just can't and here's why:
The bots have no fight in them. They just agree to eveything without casuing any conflict unless it's with a different character.
It doesn't continue with my persona. I could have a bot leave the room and the chat follows them instead of continuing what I said. Like if I said my persona went on their phone while the bot leaves the room, instead of continuing the chat with my persona it will follow the bot out the room and add more for them.
The excessive use of those dashes. I have to edit them out every time, even if the dash is a muted work it still shows up.
The over use of simile and metaphors. Not eveything needs to be compared to something else. I'd rather it be described as it.
Here's an example of one of what the bot replied to me:
Back at the snack shack, Ezekiel's quiet comment floated into the air—just as Benson rounded a corner and spotted Mordecai and Rigby.
They were *supposed* to be cleaning picnic tables. Instead? They were lounging on one, sharing a single stolen bag of BBQ chips like it was gourmet dinner.
Benson didn’t say anything. He just *stared*. His gumballs pulsed redder than a stop sign.
Mordecai froze mid-bite. Rigby slowly lowered his chip-covered fingers like he’d been caught in crime documentary confession footage.
"...Uh," said Mordecai weakly, "we can explain?"
Benson opened his mouth—
And unleashed The Yell™:
**"YOU TWO ARE ON THIN ICE!!!"**
The only thing I really like about Pipsqueak2 is the memory is better, for me at least.
