For owner of Outback 2026, is it significantly more difficult to park than lets say a Forester ? it is 9 inches longer, I wonder if it matters or not.

Bought the car new 2.5 years ago, was supposed to be a reliable car according to almost all the reviewers. But one year ago, strange whining noise from the CVT appeared. Went to stealers 2 times and they told me it is normal. The third time was the right one and they diagnose a problem that requires changing the whole transmission. Free for me as I am under warranty, but the price would have been close to 15000 CAD...I drove very softly, no off road whatsoever, very careful in cold weather, followed strictly the maintenance schedule at the stealer. Very disappointed toward Subaru, I was expecting much more. At least they will change the CVT. Is it a frequent problem ? Did I just get unlucky and had a lemon ? Should I sell and buy a RAV4 for its "legendary" reliability ? thank you.
