So I'm not exactly in AZ but southwest Utah any tips on type of plants I can grow to produce food that do well in the desert?I'm looking to get all my male mulberry trees taken out maybe keep on for shade and in my front yard take out the cypress trees sick of all the wasps they hide

Figured I would try again it's been almost 20 years from the first time I had some let's see if I can grow fruit in the next couple of years. I might put the twin in a pot like the prickly pear in the 2nd just need to trim it up clean up the bed and try to propagate the weaker pads on the left think I should add rocks to both once I get the twin planted?
