How do I wire this for bathroom pull cord switch to work?

I have been getting my bathroom refurbished, and the person tiling the bathroom removed the old pull cord switch to replace it with my new one. He told me he didn't check how the old one was connected before pulling it out "because its usually simple" and tried connecting the new one but didn't work.

He's now left and said it was an electrical job 😞. Can someone help me please my in-laws are coming over soon and really need the bathroom to be working. The pull cord activates the bathroom extractor fan.

I've attached some pictures. Essentially though there are two live wires, and two switch live wires and 2 earths. (i think) Any help appreciated.

The extractor fan is a timer fan, so needs a permanent live, switch live (from pullcord) and neutral which it looks like I have, this job looks simpler than the pull cord

Happy to buy someone a coffee if their suggestion works!
