I have Kaiser permanente under my job, and Multicare under my parents. Kaiser has a contract with Franciscan Health hospitals but not Multicare. I was wondering since I have Multicare as my second coverage would it make sense for me to go to their hospital? Since it’s my secondary coverage and Kaiser likely would not be covering it should I go with a Franciscan hospital? I’m not entirely clear on how dual coverage works.
(I prefer multicare to Franciscan is why this is even a debate in the first place)
