I’m currently in the middle of my 35F AIT. I’ve only gotten 2 counselings so far for being late to CQ, but other than that I’ve been a model trainee. My aunt is getting married on Saturday of memorial weekend (which is a 4 day weekend for us), and her husband who I’ve known for years and is practically my uncle recently got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I want to request leave to attend the wedding, because I want to be there for this big moment. Is it likely my command will deny it? I’m going to try anyway, but I’m feeling a little down that they may deny it.
