Weighted sensation in mouth??
Not sure how to describe this exactly, but wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.
I have tried searching online and can’t seem to find anything remotely similar to this feeling.
Since I can remember even as a child I would get this occasional feeling/sensation in my mouth and on my tongue as though there is almost like a weighted metal object or metal bar sitting across my tongue. Obviously there is no physical object In my mouth but the phantom sensation of it usually lasts a few seconds or more. The only way I can describe it is feeling as though something metal and weighted is sitting across my tongue(nothing to do with metallic taste but more so the feeling of an actual object). It’s such an odd feeling and it has been happening since I can remember.
Has anyone else experienced something similar or know what could be causing this feeling?
