I'm a casual who trains for the love of the sport and I don't compete. I try to do light sparring most times and more pad/bag/conditioning work but every now and then during sparring I get rocked harder than I'd like. Especially because I'm taller and some fighters just decide to go harder on me. I know it's inevitable and part of the learning process , can't expect to go in the water and not get wet, but do you worry about it affecting your cognitive ability at an older age?
