No Regrets
Azula has consumed a silk moth... her bug lust is unquenchable. She will commit bug murder again and theirs nothing anyone can do to stop her. This is the face of a killer.
Azula is a female jeweled lacerta and a very good lady.

It's what I call turtle season around where I live. They like to come out and bask on the roads after a good rain. I am a school bus driver and make it my mission to make sure I get any reptilian friends out of the road. I really lucked out today as I got to see a snapping turtle today coming home from work and helped them walk back to the woods (I gave them a very healthy distance) while I gently coaxed them back away from the road they were on. This year I keep a backpack full of gloves and my snake hook just in case. Enjoy these 2, I hope I get to show more, although I hope no turts make their way to any streets more to be honest.
So it started with me getting feeder Silkworms for my lizards, but the lizards got bored of them... I wasnt willing to let the worms 'go to waste' so of course I spent 60 dollars on food and a set up for them. Clearly that was the correct reaction, right?! Speaking of, does anyone know where I can buy a mulberry plant? I dont have a problem, you have a problem!
I have some silk moths emerging from their cocoon and today this one is trying their best to get the attention of a male by flapping her wings. I wasnt expecting to learn as much about silk moths as I have this week, but such is life.
Here's one of the moths that have come out of my silkworms that were meant to be feeders... why do they have to have such adorable faces as moth adults l?!
Azula loves to try new foods and if it wiggles, all the better! Unfortunately I have to keep her from dragging it across my workspace, but thats the life I live.

Got home to find jade waiting for me and as I sat down at my desk, my boy decided that I would be holding him for about 20 minutes while Seru, my talkative cat, yapped at me. Everyone wants my attention today!
I've been played like a fiddle. The lizards were enjoying silkworms for a while and in my hubris I decides I should go ahead and get alot more for them because Onyx has only been wanting softer food. Jokes on me, nobody wants them as much as they did a few weeks ago. Oh well, I have a dubia colony already, surely raising silkworms wont be that hard... right?
On occassion I take the boys somewhere, I inevitably have to park for a few minutes and let them sit on the dash for a while because the sun is just too nice. The sun just cant hit them the same when theyre in their 'car seat' like it can when we are parked.

I share alot of content of my lizards being accepting of attention, but here we have Jade telling me 'no thanks'. I promise it my feelings aren't absolutely crushed...

Today Azula keeps trying to peacefully hang out by the window but she keeps seeing somethin that is startling her. When she gets spooked, she comes sprinting over to me and looks at me like 'Did you see that?!' I feel honored that she sees me as her safety place.
