I came to the conclusion a long time ago that most things in this industry are trying to sell you equipment, apparel or software but there really isn't anyone out there supporting you once you officially open or buy a shop. You hung your sign, now what?

A few weeks ago I decided to start a Substack sharing what I have learned running shops over the last 25 years because I'm sort of in a head space of transitioning out of this industry. I like to help, but I also know that I don't owe anyone my knowledge. Like, I can fix most issues people have with printing just by seeing them print but this is a little different information like how I price jobs, quote, compartmentalize my week and how to spend my time on cultivating "quality" over "quantity" orders. You are welcome to subscribe where most posts will be free for anyone to read. I have ADHD so I do edit these to short articles to stay on point 😄 The Substack is @ printshoptruths
